Description
The Empyrean Series Hardcover – Heirloom Classic Spredges
spredge (noun) · /sprej/ · plural spredges
From “sprayed” and “edge.” The book community’s word for decorated page edges, from solid colors to full painted scenes.
Dragon colors. No distractions.
Our Classic Spredges for Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean finish Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm in rich, solid-color edges, each volume in a shade drawn from its own storm: signet gold, iron blue, onyx black, deep, even color that makes the trilogy read as one squadron on the shelf. Where our Glass Edges tell the war in pictures, the Classic set tells it in pure pigment: bold across a room, clean in the hand, made to be read and reread.
Independently made
We buy the real books, exactly as the publisher made them, and give them edges no one else has. Every design is Heirloom’s own, commissioned from human artists, no AI, ever. When we produce an entire edition under license, you will find it in our Saga collection.

I am OBSESSED!! Not only are the books absolutely gorgeous, but the box they came in is so cute! Everything was specialized, and it was shipped with so much care. I can’t wait to put these on my bookshelf and to add more Hemingway Books down the line!

The books were packed meticulously and arrived in great condition. Came in a custom designed box too! The books themselves are beautiful, sprayed edges done well and overall good quality. This is my first purchase from Hemingway and it won’t be my last!
