Social Media Content Creator
We are looking for a work-from-home content creator who loves books, has a great eye for aesthetics, and knows how to make people stop scrolling. If you save trending audios before anyone else, love making beautiful Reels and TikToks, and get excited over gorgeous special editions, we would love to hear from you.
This role is all about short-form video for our Instagram and TikTok. Think cinematic unboxings, satisfying details, trending formats, behind-the-scenes moments, and creative concepts that bring our books to life. To start with, this is a freelance position requiring one piece of content per week, with plenty of room to grow as we do.
What you will be creating
- Instagram Reels and TikTok videos
- Creative, aesthetic, scroll-stopping book content
- Fresh ideas that showcase our editions in unique ways
- If you are keen, bringing new trends, sounds, and ideas to the table
This role is focused purely on content creation. You will not be managing stories, designing feed posts, or handling day-to-day social media management.
You would be a great fit if you
- Love books and the online book community
- Have experience creating Reels or TikToks
- Enjoy filming and editing engaging short-form video
- Have a strong sense of aesthetics and storytelling
- Like experimenting with trends while keeping your work original
- Are reliable, creative, and excited to build something with us
Experience is wonderful, but we are just as interested in your creativity and the way you think. Show us content you are proud of. We would much rather see your style than a perfect résumé.
Illustrator
We commission illustrators to create original cover art and printed-edge designs for our Saga Editions, the artwork that makes a Heirloom edition unforgettable. This is project based rather than a salaried role. You are commissioned per cover or edge set, and we credit our artists by name on the work they create.
We would love to see your work if you
- Create beautiful, characterful illustration, whether full cover art, character work, or decorative linework
- Have a portfolio that shows your range and your style
- Design for print already, or are excited to learn how foiling, sprayed and stenciled edges, and endpapers translate your art onto a physical book
- Love the stories and the reader community these editions are made for
A note on rights: commissioned artwork is licensed to Heirloom for the edition and its promotion, set out clearly in a simple commission agreement before any work begins. You are always credited for your work.
